The Standard Portfolio for BES Inductive Sensors
Wednesday Jul 05, 2023
Wednesday Jul 05, 2023
Julie Hale and Logan Welch discuss Balluff's new standard inductive sensor line.
Inductive sensors are a keystone in manufacturing. Wherever automation takes place, reliably detecting the presence of metallic objects, operating without contact or wear, is in high demand.
Balluff’s newest proxes are standard sensors for reliable material sensing in normal factory environments.
Their low cost makes them a good choice for applications that are demanding in terms of price or volume. They are sold individually or in 25-unit packaging.

Bullnose Photoelectric Sensors for Universal Use
Thursday Jan 26, 2023
Thursday Jan 26, 2023
Balluff’s photoelectric expert Logan Welch shared information on the new BOS R81K series photoelectric sensors deliver reliable detection in a wide range of industrial applications.
The bullnose sensors are available in retroreflective, diffuse, diffuse with background suppression and through-beam versions, each with PNP and NPN options.
The bright LED red light-beam in the retroreflective, diffuse and background suppression versions enable sensing ranges up to 3 m and gives accurate results even in dirty and dusty industrial atmosphere. The through beam version uses infrared and delivers a sensing range up to an impressive 20 m. Adjustment is quickly carried out by means of a top-mounted potentiometer.
